We are excited to announce the release of the first Knowledge Product of Series 3, Regenerative Neighbourhoods and Cities, in our Building for the Future Knowledge Product Collection. This series unpacks the concept of regeneration at the scale of neighbourhoods and cities, addressing the pressing challenges posed by urbanization and the currentorganization of urban areas. Urban areas, which account for over 70 per cent of global carbon emissions, face significant challenges from environmental degradation, socio-economic inequalities, and climate change impacts. However, how we design and manage cities and neighbourhoods cansignificantly influence these outcomes.

The first Knowledge Product, Adopting Compact and Mixed-Use Planning, focuses on how compact, mixed-use development can transform urban spaces into climate-friendly, inclusive, and vibrant environments. It delves into real-world applications, challenges, and strategies to overcome barriers to implementation. Discover how these approaches have been put into practice, learn about challenges of implementation, and explore strategies to overcome them.

We’re also thrilled to share that our Building for the Future Knowledge Product Collection is now available in German and Chinese, expanding access to a global audience.
