The Greek island of Delos is considered the birthplace of light: In mythology, the moon goddess Artemis and the sun god Apollo were born here. Thousands of years later, the “Apollo” space missions took people to the moon. Now the “Artemis” program is to do this again
We invite you to join us on Thursday, March 30 at 5.30 pm to discover the golden mean between culture and space technology.
There will be a screening of the concert “[Uncertain] Four Seasons” played by the European Union Youth Orchestra in Delos Open Museum. The classic by Antonio Vivaldi has been adapted to reflect the acute climate changes. Followed by a talk about sustainable action in culture and science with Prof. Dr. Hermann Parzinger (Europa Nostra), Alexandra Mitsotaki (World Human Forum), Prof. Dr. Hans Joachim Schellnhuber (Bauhaus Earth, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research), and Prof. Dr. Heinz-Wilhelm Hübers (German Aerospace Center).
The event will take place at St. Elisabeth Church, Invalidenstraße 3, 10115 Berlin.
Please register by March 21 via this registration form.
