Space
Our Workshop is a laboratory of research and demonstration. Nearly every project carried out at Bauhaus Earth involves the Workshop — to test materials, to prototype, to exhibit.
Located at Atelier Gardens Berlin, just south of the former Tempelhof Airfield, the ca. 500 m2 workshop space provides the infrastructure for experimentation and prototyping. In addition, the Workshop space showcases cutting-edge research and innovation from around the world as part of events, lectures, and symposia.

Materials and Prototypes
Our workshop facilitates technical and material innovation, as well as demonstration and experimentation, eduaction and learning
From non-uniform deciduous timber to unfired earth blocks to "reedcrete": Our workshop/lab has contributed to major achievements in the development, testing, and demonstration of regional and regenerative materials. The space is fully equipped with woodworking tools and machinery for the processing of raw earth materials. Together with researchers and partners, the workshop team realises regenerative building materials and prototypes in small series. The space is also used for professional trainings and hands-on seminars.
